I did not predict Darryl Strawberry would be “fired” this early. I’ll go on about that later this week. But I did “request” Summer to step it up and show us what she had. And had the women lost (which, perhaps, they should have considering that they didn’t follow directions and create an advertorial) she certainly should have been fired.
Next week, its high time that Holly Robinson Peete takes charge of Tenacity. Sharon’s still not healthy enough and I think Salita will ride it another week. For the men, Goldberg would do well to do something as a leader, but Rod Blag-blah-blah-blah may feel the need to step. Heaven help his team if he does. (And, should he step up to PM, he’ll be heading home shortly thereafter.) It would be great to see Curtis Stone jump in, but I think he’ll ride the wave another week or so.
And to be fired? The next few I forsee leaving are Blag-blah-blah-blah for the men, though Bret should be careful. He’s really treading over there because his team thinks he’s so out there in ideas. However, hopefully someone will recognize how right he was in his creative concepts this week. Had Johnson followed his lead, Rock Solid may have pulled off a win. On the Tenacity side, Cyndi’s really going to have to watch herself next week, as she’s been warned by Summer now to offer her ideas, but not her stories. We’ll see how she does with that. If she can remain focused, she’s here for a while longer. If not, she’ll be next to go.
