Lilly Pulitzer Giveaway: So Mom Chic!

There’s a company out there that turns their heads away from the dark, gloomy trends of winter. They laugh in the face of blacks, browns and grays. Their goal? To make every season bright, fun and colorful. And why not? Why shouldn’t we wear something fun and exciting?

Of course, with spring approaching, I’m thinking color anyway. So I was super excited to be invited to the grand opening of the Lilly Pulitzer store in Ardmore, PA. They pulled out all the stops, introducing us to designers and directors from the brand. (Lilly Pulitzer is headquartered here in King of Prussia, PA, which is about 15 minutes away from home. Surprising, I know. Most people think Lilly is in Florida, though, the real Lilly is in Florida.)

Just looking through their webpage before the event (research… of course!) totally put me in the spring/summer/resort/HAPPY mood. A few highlights that will add that necessary spark to your clothing. You know, the splash of color that makes you Mom Chic.

Last week I mentioned that I buy a new pair of sunglasses each spring. And while in that Mom Chic post I linked to a pair from Tori Burch, the Kendra Glasses are definitely calling my name.

Looking at the handbag collection, I’m doing the “I want that one and that one and that one…” because bags are such an easy way to accessorize. This Sea and Be Seen Tote is my favorite summer bag. But I wouldn’t turn away from the Dress to Impress clutch or the Critter Clutch for summer nights out, either.

I’ve had my eye on the Basket Case Bangle for a while now. (So, of course it ended up on my wrist last night). The fact that its also available in Sea Blue and Bright Navy made me want three instead of just one.
