#VlogMoms 3: What's the worst parenting advice you received?

Theresa from Rock On Mommies asked this week’s question: What was the best and worst parenting advice you got while you were pregnant with your first? Of course, I couldn’t remember a lot of advice, so I offer my best advice and then I remember the worst.

What was the best or worst parenting advice you received? Comment below, or join us in the VlogMoms linky this week. And take a few minutes to see what the other moms said.

I love how casual you are….you look so cool and comfy. Next week, I’m on the couch :)

  2. First, I want your couch. Second, I needed that advice today!

LOL, 9 years ago is a long time!!! It was even hard to think back only 3 years ago for me!!! Great video!!

  4. I love it, I just want to be there with you having coffee, or a glass of wine! I am so glad I’m not the only one who couldn’t remember. Of course now when I think about it, it’s been 15 years since I was pregnant with my first. I might have to cry! :-)

No kidding! I was rewatching the video when I realized that he was born in 2003, so that’s really 10 years ago that I was pregnant. Holy moly! I know! can’t believe how long ago it was!

Come, join me for wine. Or coffee talk! Remember that with Mike Myers on SNL?

Sleep when the baby sleeps….yes….well I had to take that advice and forgo showers for the first 3 months because my new baby did NOT sleep. At All. So when she did sleep? So did I LOL!

Ha ha Sleep gets lots of sleep..really how unrealistic is that. Why do people alway give that advice.

  7. I remember everyone telling me what I was carrying: boy or girl, and there was no real consensus so I don’t what the heck people base it on.

Sleeping whenever the baby sleeps was advice I heard too. It was easier said than done though!
