Last week I promised that I’d talk accessories for Fashion Friday today in response to a request from Emily and I haven’t forgotten–it’s coming later today. While I searched for accessories for Emily’s new top, I couldn’t keep my jaw from dropping at Spring 2012 fashion: floral jeans.
I want your opinion. Is this a look you’ll be donning this spring? I can tell you exactly how to dress this look, and it will even look cute… but do you want to? Or should this look have been left in the 80s fashion vault?

If you’re old enough to have worn it the first time around…then, no. Not a look I’ll be wearing this spring!
I totally rocked the floral jeans in the 80′s but I’m not sure I’d wear them now. I think they look adorable on young girls but once you’re a certain age and body type it’s a big no go!

Honest opinion? Definitely not. I am a pear shape and think it would just accentuate my lower half, not to mention, I really don’t understand or love the look.
I love them! I just tried some on today and they looked great. This 41 year old might just rock them this spring if I can get over the price. May be too expensive for a trend.
